The Salt Lake City Police Foundation, established in 2011, is the official 501(c)(3) nonprofit partner of the Salt Lake City Police Department. Its mission is to strengthen the relationship between the community and the police force by supporting key initiatives in three areas: Valor & Camaraderie Initiatives, Community Engagement, and Training & Safety Equipment.  

By emphasizing Valor & Camaraderie Initiatives, the Foundation recognizes the dedication and bravery of officers, boosting morale and promoting a supportive work environment. Community Outreach efforts foster trust and collaboration between residents and law enforcement. For Training & Safety Equipment, we support the SLCPD through programs, training, and updated safety equipment that enhance officer effectiveness, foster trust, and reinforce public safety.
